Situated on the River Danube, Vienna, the former capital of the Hapsburg empire, is today the cultural, economic and political centre of Austria. This 5 day tour will include some of the city's most famous sites: the world-famous Kunsthistorisches Museum; the Imperial Treasury or Shatzkammer; the enormous imperial summer palace or Schloss Schönbrunn; the temple to modern art that is the Secession Gebäude, the Upper Belvedere gallery, an afternoon in the Vienna Woods; and of course, the Spanish Riding School, where we will observe a morning exercise session.
Staying in the four star Hotel Stefanie, the tour price will include the flights, two dinners, coach travel, entrance fees and the services of a local specialist guide.
